Volunteer Hub Terms to Know

• Account Overview is your account page where all your upcoming opportunities and volunteer history is displayed. 
  • Top Navigation bar > Volunteer > My Account

• The Personal Information profile is the page where CASBO collects volunteers basic info and volunteer interests (activity types and area of responsibility). 
  • Top Navigation bar > Volunteer > Personal Information

• Activity Types is a list of interests that volunteers have related to school business and their professional pursuits. It is a multiselect list under the Personal Information page. This list is used to match you (the volunteer) to volunteer opportunities. 
  • Top Navigation bar > Volunteer > My Account > Personal Information

• Area of Responsibility is a list of CASBO's professional disciplines. It is a multiselect list under the Personal Information page. This list is also used to match you (the volunteer) to volunteer opportunities.
  • Top Navigation bar > Volunteer > My Account > Personal Information

• The Filter & Sort function allows you (the volunteer) to search for specific opportunities that peek your interest and fall under your specific expertise, skillset, and/or area of responsibility. You can sort and search by Dates, Keyword, Section/Region, Activity Type, and/or Location. Learn more about this feature here.

• Express Interest allows you (the volunteer) to inform CASBO that you are interested in volunteering for a particular volunteer opportunity through a click of a button. Learn more about this feature here.
